The September Spotlight on annuities discusses how assets in variable annuities int eh second quarter totaled .19 trillion, an increase since a figure of .07 trillion at the end of the first quarter; and the fact that sales of fixed annuities increased 10 percent between in the year-over-year period ended with June, according to recent findings from Fixed Annuity Premium Study.
