This could get really interesting. Several US States are suing the Treasury for B in unclaimed WW II bonds. Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock discusses on CNBC. In times like this where budgets are being trimmed and hours cut we are going to see attempted blood out of turnip.
Sadly I have to smile at all of this in false pleasure as I sit here in my 9th month of unemployment.
Odd that now the tills are only filled with newly generated money folks seem to be going after it?

yes, I read yesterday that Alabama’s in bad shape… states will now try to get all the money they can from Fed.

I will believe that the states are looking out for the best interest of their citizens once I am done gagging in horror over this piece of old, but relevant news:

States rights or the U.S. Constitution mean nothing to the Federal Reserve bank. The U.S. Treasury ceased to be constitutional when it abandoned the gold standard.
The state governors are just grandstanding. Their attorneys know it’s only a dog and pony show for the american people.
It would be the same thing as the state governors filing a lawsuit against the U.S. Supreme Court demanding to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Wake up, America! Your legal system is playing you for a fool…
